From frosted to clear in under 10 milliseconds
Power off: liquid crystal molecules scatter randomly and the film turns opaque for privacy (haze 93-95%). Power on: molecules align and the film becomes clear. Installation is a dry peel-and-stick mount, then one AC 60V/48V transformer per film zone - we calculate the wattage for you at quotation.

Film goes on the surface of your existing glass
The self-adhesive layer bonds directly to the smooth indoor face of your current glass - windows, doors and partitions stay in place. No glass removal, no frame work, no construction dust: the room keeps using the window while the film turns it switchable.

From clear glass to switchable glass - no replacement
1. Start with your existing glass - single glazing or the indoor face of double glazing. The film mounts on the room side, so the window stays in its frame the whole time.
2. Peel and stick the self-adhesive smart film onto the glass surface - a dry peel-and-stick mount with a squeegee, no glue, no water, no construction dust. Custom cut to your exact sizes with the busbar pre-positioned.
3. Connect the power transformer - one AC 60V/48V supply per film zone, and the glass switches between clear and opaque anytime, in under 10 ms. We size the transformer for your exact film area at quotation.
The install, start to finish
- Clean the glass - no dust, no grease; spray and squeegee clean
- Peel the liner - expose the EVA adhesive side of the film
- Stick and squeegee - apply to the glass, push water and air out to the edges
- Trim & seal - cut flush to the frame, seal the busbar edge
- Connect the transformer - AC 60V output, film turns clear when powered

Questions about this product
Can I cut the film myself?
Trimming on site is possible for small adjustments, but the busbar must be re-finished after cutting. For best results order exact sizes from us - cutting tolerance is ±2 mm from the factory.
Which side does the busbar go on?
Factory rule: for panels with length-to-width ratio over 3:1, the busbar goes on one long side or two short sides - a single short-side busbar cannot power the whole piece. We position it correctly for you at production.
Is it really only 5 W per square meter?
Yes - about 5 W/m² at AC 60V. A 10 m² window wall draws roughly 50 W, less than one incandescent bulb, and only while switched clear.
Will the adhesive damage my glass if I remove it later?
The silicon adhesive peels off with heat (a hair dryer softens it) and leaves little residue; any traces clean off with alcohol. The film is not reusable after removal.
Does it work on double-glazed or textured glass?
It mounts on the smooth indoor face of double glazing without problem. Very textured or frosted glass prevents proper adhesion - flat, smooth glass is required.
How do I clean the film surface?
A soft cloth with mild soapy water. Avoid abrasives, razor blades and high-pressure jets at the busbar edge, which could lift the sealed electrode.
Can I control several windows with one remote?
Yes - zone all pieces on one transformer output and pair them to a single RF remote or our app control module. We help you plan zones at quotation.
What sizes can I order?
Any width up to 1.8 m and any length, including shapes (circles, arches, cut-outs) - we cut from your drawing with ±2 mm tolerance.

Smart film in sheet - finished
Pre-cut to your exact measurements, with busbars and lead wires factory-finished before shipping. Unpack, mount, connect a power transformer and test it straight away - a finished product, ideal for beginners and end users.
Smart film in roll - semi-finished
Supplied as raw roll without busbars. You cut to size and finish the busbars yourself - lower cost per square meter and maximum flexibility in sizing, which is why large buyers prefer it. It requires cutting and busbar-making skills; we provide full guidance for quantity customers.
